My Artists- Chrystal

Chrystal – From My Personal View

There’s something wonderfully unmistakable about Chrystal.

She is energetic, constantly in motion, and overflowing with ideas. She’s the kind of person who lives life at full speed — which means replies might arrive late, submissions might follow just before deadlines, and events sometimes require a gentle reminder. But honestly? That’s part of her beauty. It’s simply who she is, and it’s something I fully accept and appreciate.

Chrystal’s art speaks for itself. Her paintings are bold, modern, and unapologetically full of colour.

They don’t sit quietly on a wall — they communicate, provoke, and invite the viewer into her world. There is movement in her work, emotion in every layer, and a sense of freedom that mirrors the way she lives and creates. You don’t need an explanation to feel her paintings; they speak directly, honestly, and with confidence.

She brings the same intensity into her life. Chrystal trains hard, lives actively, and has an impressive physical strength — her handstands alone are a quiet reminder of her discipline and determination. She is a strong woman in a compact frame, someone who has been through a lot, yet carries it with resilience, humour, and a genuine smile.

What I admire most is her fearlessness. Chrystal is not afraid to stand up for herself, to fight for what she believes in, and still remain open, kind, and creative. There is honesty in her energy and courage in her choices — including the brave decision to leave a long career behind and trust her artistic voice.

She paints the way she lives: freely, emotionally, and without asking for permission.

And that, to me, is exactly what art should be.
