Roy Jones – From My Personal View
Roy Jones previously worked in London, Islington, where he had a regular space on the Piccadilly railings selling his work. Seven years ago, he moved to Hertfordshire and has since been painting and exhibiting locally, including with the Hertford and St Albans Art Societies and at the Hertford Club. Roy loves the countryside and is a keen angler — both of which have been great inspirations for his work. He works predominantly in acrylics and watercolour.
Roy is always present with his artwork during exhibitions, never leaving his pieces unattended, and he takes genuine pleasure in seeing people admire his creations. He loves the process of creating, and some of his best-selling works have been painted on wooden blocks, showing his willingness to explore different surfaces and techniques. Beyond his artistic talent, Roy is a very cheeky man with a great sense of humour, bringing warmth and laughter wherever he goes.
Watching Roy interact with his art and the audience is a joy. His dedication, playfulness, and love for creation make him not only a talented artist but also a lively and cherished presence in our art community.
